Full Job Description

The Accounting Specialist will analyze information, maintain complete and accurate records, assist with routine accounting duties, and provide prompt, courteous responses to inquiries or complaints from clients, vendors, and lenders. You should also be a skilled researcher and possess strong communication and computer skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Record financial information and provide summaries when necessary

Review ledgers, statements, and balance sheets for accuracy

Manage and update payroll information to ensure all employees get accurate compensation

Process and organize invoices to ensure bills are paid and received in a timely manner

Input credit and debits to the accounting system in support of the payables work.

Develop and maintain reports and files on the Accounts Payable processing.

Input general ledger entries for account changes.

Maintain accounts by recording, identifying, and verifying financial transactions

Follow internal accounting procedures and policies to ensure financial security is maintained

Collaborate with others in the accounting department to ensure all financial actions are accurate.
