Job Description

The Manager of PBM Accounting will be responsible for driving an accurate and efficient Month End Close for our 340B Drug Discount business as well as assisting with our Specialty and PBM businesses. In addition, the Manager of PBM Accounting will also support the Sr. Manager and Director with ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. Additionally the candidate should be able to work cross functionally in a large organization. The Manager of PBM Accounting will have a range of responsibilities including:

Oversight of the accounting impacts of the 340B Drug Discount Program. This includes reviewing and approving monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and various reports as well as performing analysis and assisting with the design of the Accounting function to support rapid growth of this business.

Support various aspects of the Specialty Pharmacy and PBM accounting close process including Sales/COGS cut-off and purchased discounts.

Management, training and development of accounting personnel.

Support and manage requests from internal and external auditors as they complete the financial statement and internal controls audits.

Evaluate and propose process improvement and efficiency opportunities.

Assist on special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

4 years of experience in a Public/Corporate Accounting Function

Preferred Qualifications

1+ Year of management/supervisory experience

Strong Excel skills with a proven capacity to organize, manipulate and interpret data.

SAP experience a plus

CPA preferred

Education

Bachelors degree required
