Responsibilities

As a key member of the team this position is responsible for performing administrative duties to an assigned operational unit. This position performs office support functions required for the operation of an assigned organizational unit. This position may support one or more staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a point of administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals and external constituents
  • Providing administrative assistance and support to the assigned organizational staff
  • Preparing various reports based on operational assignment
  • Composing and editing internal and external correspondence and documents
  • Maintaining organizational databases by updating them with necessary information and be able to run reports from those databases
  • Preparing processing, and maintaining various records and reports
  • Responding to routine inquiries via in-person or by phone/electronically
  • Coordinating appointments, meetings and conference rooms, including working with internal and external constituents as necessary
  • Performing routine office administrative functions such as typing, filing, copying, ordering office supplies, and answering phones
  • Establishing, maintaining, and revising files including determining appropriate organizational and recordkeeping methods.
  • Processing routine paperwork as required
  • Processing routine financial and personnel transactions such as invoices, purchase requests and payroll on an as needed basis.
  • Packing of promotional materials and lifting heavy boxes.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience providing administrative support/office management.
