Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the financial record keeping process, providing accounting and clerical support. May use specialized ledgers and accounting software to record and process expenditures and reconciliations, prepare financial documents and perform other financial transactions as needed.

  • Maintains and/or runs reports related to general ledger; may add or edit account information.
  • May upload journal vouchers to the general accounting ledger.
  • Files supporting documentation/paperwork associated with various financial transactions.
  • Initiates and completes bank reconciliations
  • Analyzes trial balance activity.
  • Accurately code cash receipts; may record same receipts to the ledger.
  • Process disbursements
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • 2 plus years of experience in general accounting practices and principles or related field
