NY Tech seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the Endowed Chair for the School of Architecture and Design on the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for Endowed chair including research projects and initiatives.
  • Support graduate program development and administration.
  • Assist with administration and coordination of School of Architecture Lectures and Events, as well as social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Office/Outlook, Adobe, GoogleDocs and willingness to learn additional software.
  • Well versed in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Design, Arts and/or Architecture knowledge is preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal/ written/ interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be well organized, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
