  • The key responsibilities are;
  • Vendor maintenance; setting up vendors, coding vendors, reviewing and approving invoices for the submitters to then process.
  • Analyze financial data to resolve case financial problems
  • Process the daily case related disbursement program
  • Enter voided check data and reissue payments
  • Deactivation/reactivation of unpaid check requests
  • Maintains the cash available file
  • Assist with research, resolution and documentation of problems
  • Provide training support for case management systems’ financial functions
  • Create journal entries in General Ledger
  • Complete tax levy forms received on panel, contact regional office associated with the panel and advise them of existing levy
  • Update the panel file with proper coding and notes
  • Monitor any payment requests made for the panel with an outstanding levy
  • Verify all tax information available in panel and match data on check requests done during calendar year
  • Correspond with panel to obtain proper reporting numbers for the payee name on the checks
  • Perform monthly write-off of aged balances
  • Respond to customer chargeback requests and credit card disputes
  • Set panelists up for ACH payments and maintain records
  • Attend on-site meetings and in-person training sessions
  • Completes ad hoc tasks as required The successful candidate will have; -A strong knowledge of processing invoices -Minimum 3 years of experience -A non-profit accounting background -Excellent communication skills (oral and written) -The ability to work independently and on a team Well known non-profit charter school based in New York.
