Engineered Floors


Account Executives manage the entire sales cycle of EF Contract specified commercial business from lead generation and specification through project bid, purchase and installation. Successful Account Executives develop trusting customer relationships in all segments and understand local market place dynamics with the ability to leverage core partnerships within the Architect and Designer, End Use, General Contractor and Dealer Communities to bring all projects to a successful close. EF Contract is a commercial division of Engineered Floors.


  • Develop an annual business plan (in conjunction with RVP) and adhere to overall plan while meeting monthly/quarterly sales forecasts and cost targets
  • Travel to applicable markets to generate and pursue new business opportunities that provide revenue growth
  • Develop, communicate and oversee a strategic direction aimed at growing sales
  • Construct annual plans with capacity to adjust strategies and meet business objectives
  • Superior time management and organizational skills to meet strategic initiatives
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and assist in RFI’s and RFP’S
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times while providing superior customer service support
  • Work independently while collaborating as a team member
  • Ability to communicate customer needs to internal departments
  • Utilize a CRM to track and analyze prospects, call schedules, weekly expense reports, pricing quotes, distributing data, business plans, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Industry knowledge required
  • Three to five years flooring experience or other interior furnishings experience preferred
  • A demonstrated history of successful sales forecast achievements
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
