Overview

Provides customer contact support for various client business processes or business segments associated with client telecommunication products and services. Responsible for fostering the relationship between clients with review of access service requests and billing issues

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze aged activity to establish priority collection accounts
  • Initiate customer contact daily for the purpose of collecting outstanding debts as part of the collections process
  • Facilitate and negotiate optimal resolution with customer accounts
  • Maintain customer credit status based on customer payment performance
  • File maintenance (i.e. hierarchy, store #, vendor #, statement, etc)
  • Manage customer accounts activity through client tracking system
  • Initiate communication with internal teams to facilitate issue resolution
  • Provide account projections and analysis of accounts
  • Research and respond to billing claims to meet customer expectations and internal standards
  • Maintain attentive and prompt customer service relations with client and client customer’s
  • Complies with all specified FDCPA, state and city laws and provisions, as outlined in the GC Services Compliance with FDCPA and State Collection laws Statement, the GCS A/R Training program and the FDCPA Test
  • Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
  • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
  • React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

Minimum two years of experience is required; prefer two to five years’ experience with working knowledge of wholesale products and services with two years’ experience in customer contact.
